1/25/2010 Seeing Sideways

Today, was our first day of class since the very first day that school started. The teacher is still out not feeling to well, hope she gets better soon! The class today was quite interesting we all sat in a giant odd shaped oval, which was suppose to be a circle). We had to tell something that we feel is special about ourselves to someone we didn't know. I met a woman by the name of Emily, she is pretty laid back and not to mention she is a 17 year veteran of the U.S army. After everyone went around introducing their "New Friend" to the class, we started to present our Egg blogs. There was some interesting egg blogs, but overall I think the assignment forced everybody to think outside the box and not to mention I had fun doing so. I really enjoy the class, the class is a change from my past 2 years of experience with the New Media program at IUPUI.

Lonely Ed

Ed The Egg

I want to introduce you to Ed, Ed is a 3 year old egg. He comes from a very big family of eggs, but he is the outcast of his entire egg family. Everywhere Ed goes he is by himself, he has no friends because everyone thinks he looks funny. The picture above shows Ed driving his 2000 Ford Taurus, he is about to go to the park and shoot some hoops.

Ed on The Courts

Ed doesn't have any friends to play with, so he usually goes to the courts and play all by himself. Even though he is not even a foot tall, he still has a good basketball game. Only if Ed had a friend that he could play hoops with. So, after shooting around for a hour, he decides to go to the nearby park.

Ed Taking a Break

Finally after all that horse play on the court, while walking over towards the park Ed decides to take a seat on a bench and stare off into the distance. As Ed's long silky hair moved
around like greased lightning in the wind, he could only wonder what it would be like to have a friend to be there for him.

Lonely Ed
Ed sits on the swing, thinking if only he had a friend that could push him. Seems like everything that you do in life involves having a partner and this makes Ed very sad.

Thinking...
Ed yet again, stares out at the empty park, usually filled with kids. Ed is all by himself in this cold dark world, with no one to play with. As each second passes Ed is contemplating committing suicide, giving up seems to be the answer to his lonely life.....

Boredom.....
Ed is bored, he goes down the slide and plays on the swirly thing at the park to pass time.

Leap of Faith

Ed is debating whether or not he wants to keep living his lonely life. One step down this slide would certainly crack him up!!! (Funny huh?)

While Ed was turning to walk away he accidentally stepped on his own shoe string....and next thing u know he fell down the slide.
